When this family of four relocated from living abroad to Charlotte, they were ready to embrace the southern lifestyle. They enlisted our help furnishing their new home, and we were thrilled to take on the challenge. With two little ones under the age of 4 and one parent working from home, we needed to create a space that would cater to both their professional and family needs.

We thoughtfully balanced function and style with practical, stain-resistant custom fabrics, cheerful wallcoverings, custom window treatments, and elegant lighting. Meanwhile, their unique art collection tells a story in each room.

To keep their family life and work schedules uninterrupted during this process, we managed all trades, delivering a home they could immediately enjoy. 

The kids’ rooms were especially fun to design, as we had the chance to creatively incorporate his love of trucks and her love of bows. After their bed was delayed for the fifth time, we improvised with a simple bunk upfitted with a custom cover to create the perfect hideaway far, far away.
